Myth: Decreasing food intake while undergoing exercise will largely help the body's fat-burning abilities.
Truth: This isn't all true. Eating well is the key, plus exercise. This doesn't necessarily mean decreasing your food intake but regularly taking in the right kind of healthy foods.
Following are also useful do's and don'ts on how to burn fats and lose that unnecessary weight from the body:
1. DO increase your intake of fiber-rich foods. These types of foods are mostly what people lacked in their diet. Fibers aid in the burning process. In addition, it helps generate good health. Green leafy veggies are excellent sources of fibers.
2. DON'T starve nor stuff yourself too much. Moderation is the key here. Follow a timing where you eat before you get starved. By doing so, you preserve the body's ability to metabolize on a regular basis.
3. DO activities that build muscles. These activities tend to burn fat well. Incorporate some resistance training in your day-to-day routine, adding more muscles to your body while boosting your metabolism. Hence, your body's ability to burn fat is increased.
4. DON'T eat foods rich in highly-processed carbohydrates just right before bedtime. Cereals, candies, breads and fruit juices are examples of these stuffs. Eating these before bedtime will lead to an increase in fat deposit and helps strip your body off its efficient ability to maintain a high fat-burning mode. When you really must need to eat, try veggies instead.
So you see, while people go into the most expensive way to slim down, they have actually missed the point of a cost-efficient way to do it. And the great thing is - it's just right under their fingertips. All it needs is a bit of discipline.
