How to Burn Fat Instead of Muscle - Lose the Right Weight!

It's not an easy task when trying to figure out the right balance on how to burn fat instead of muscle.  But is it achievable?  Most believe that losing muscle is a part of losing weight.  That we can't actually accomplish the ability to burn fat and keep your muscles.  I'm here to tell you that it is possible!

How to Burn Fat Instead of Muscle:

Your diet will definitely take a crucial part in the role of keeping your muscles while burning fat.  When you are on a fat burning diet, you should look to take a good amount of protein and carbohydrates to help maintain the muscles you do have.  The rule with protein intake is usually 1 gram per pound of body weight, so... if you weigh 125lbs then you should look to consume 125grams of protein, give or take.  It's ok if you don't meet your protein goals just as long as you are within range.

You should combine your healthy eating habits with a proper fitness training program.  The whole point here is to burn fat that you don't want while maintaining your muscles.  To do this you will need to work out with weight at least 2 times during your regular work out week.  3 days of cardio while alternating your lifting days in between.

When lifting weights, you should go for a lower weight range and higher repetitions.  This will help tone your muscles and won't force them to grow bulky.  Also, I want to point out here that you should really try to do your workouts right after waking up.  This will help boost your metabolism, give you more energy for the day and even shows to burn 3 times more fat than you would working out later in the day.
