How to Be Annoyingly Positive

Positivity is a well used word. It is so well used that if it were a pair of shoes, there wouldn't be any soles left on it.

Every single personal growth guru, every religion, every politician, psychologist, doctor and teacher would have used that word in order to pull people away from the downward spiral they find themselves in.

The power of the word 'POSITIVE' itself is quite tangible. Try saying it with your eyes closed and notice what it does to you. You'll start to notice your heart beating faster, and a surge of energy travel up your spine to the top of your head. Try it.

Staying positive in this big bad world can be a task. It's so much easier to dwell in the dankness of negative emotions.

On a Monday morning, when you meet someone cheerful, what are the odds you have a flashing thought to spill hot coffee over his lap just to wipe that smile off his face?

Yes positivity can be annoying. But it does not annoy the positive person, it only annoys everyone else around them that is seething in negativity.

So what can an annoyingly positive person do to feel more welcomed in the big bad negative company? Here are 3 super easy things you can do.

Smile.

A lot. Smile like you're a lunatic. It will catch on. The ones that don't smile back are way too far into their dark hole and you wouldn't want to mix with them anyway.

Be overly expressive in your encouragement.

Say nice things all the time. Tell someone who feels bad on a particular day that they actually look good. It's not lying, looks are after all subjective. And it will definitely make that person feel a lot better.

Connect.

Go hug someone. Or give someone a pat on the back. We lack human touch nowadays it sucks. We are more touchie feelie with our computer and our phone than we are to our own mothers. Spread positivity by touching some skin.

When you are bubbling with positivity, you'll start manifesting positivity around you and with the people you meet. Then, there will be more people just like you to feel great with. Time to get started!
