I am so sick of certain sayings like, "They don't make men like they use to", and "All the good men are married or gay." Those are not gems of wisdom, those are excuses! If you are wondering where all the good guys went, I suggest you stop looking outside and start looking in the mirror.

Here's the cold, hard truth. Relationship takes two. Let me share a piece of wisdom from my wonderful Aunt. "If you want the cat, don't call the dog, and if the dog comes, don't complain. Answer the following 3 questions and then you might figure out how to attract a husband instead of a One Night Stand?

1. Are you a one night stand? If you say yes to the offer, then you are telling the world you are comfortable with this life style.

2. If you were a guy, would you want to marry yourself? I know the question sounds weird, but it's still a good one. Turn the tables and look at yourself.

3. Are you a giver or a taker? If you quickly answered one way or the other, you got a problem. Long term relationships need both give and take. If you want to attract a future partner, you need to be ready to be a partner.

Successful people learn to take responsibility. The rule applies to business, sports, parenting and relationships. The problem usually is not 'out there'. It's usually within. Raise your standards and work on yourself. You will be surprised at how many men are really 'out there'.
