Don't let everyday be Monday
Do you remember when you said "Ill do it on Monday!" You have made promises to either clean the bathrooms, the kid's rooms, handle that phone call but most importantly you have promised to take on that healthy lifestyle, to eat right and work out. And then what happen? Monday came and you did not keep the promise to yourself. So then what you say again is the famous..."I'll do it on Monday!" and then Monday came and you didn't do it that time either.
Do you remember when you said "OK that's it, no more for me" and you were cool for a moment but then you got up and you ate more, or you started a project and never completed it. And because you already messed up eating or you left a job half done, you say "What the Heck I'll keep doing what I have been doing."
The truth is there could have been a couple of things that side tracked you. You might have been at work and just indulged into whatever your co-workers were doing, maybe you were having a stressful day and just ate to comfort the issues that was going on, maybe you were just not focused on what you were doing.
The average American HATES MONDAYS! This day is scattered and marks the beginning of a very hectic school or work schedule depending on who you are. No more sleeping in, that day requires getting up early and depending on what coast you live on, the Midwest weather might really work on you and your car. So while you have chosen a horrible day to make a new start you have given up because of what Mondays bring.
When you make up your mind to commit to eating properly and becoming physical, thinking positive and making a lifestyle changes "The Monday Program" doesn't work.
I can bet that most people have tried this Monday Program for years and they have had a hard time sticking to it
It's OK to just start! If you want to make a change in your life start NOW, even if the day is Sunday its OK to start on that day. So maybe to best thing to do is just start, just do it. No matter what day. The key is NOW! Be excited about the new you, the new change and the new feeling of self worth and confidence.
So stop saying I'll do it on Monday!" start saying, "I'm starting Now." Start now, not Monday!
