Are you one of the many who want to make money online, but don't know what to sell? Or don't know how to create something to sell? Many believe that it's necessary to have special skills and training to be able to create a product that people will buy on the internet. Whilst many will be able to spot an opportunity when it comes around the corner, the truth is that no training is really necessary. All you have to do is find an opportunity that needs little or no work on your part, to be on your way to making money online.
Hm - something that needs little or no work from yourself - how is this possible? Many are conditioned from childhood to believe "If it's too good to be true, it probably is". And so continue to be suspicious of many opportunities that come their way, because they think it's another of those "internet scams". The reality is to change your way of thinking - don't sell hours for dollars, don't work IN the business - work ON the business.
You may ask: "How does that work when I don't have a business to start with?" Ok, what if there was a way to legally brand one that is already created? Or, what if you could sell something that someone else has created? The easy way is to buy a licence from someone to sell their product. "But," I hear you ask, "there is too much competition if everyone is selling the same thing!" So, use the same product, but sell it as something else! Change the name, change the branding, change the sales page - make the product your own! You can even put your name as the author, with most licences. It really is that simple.
There are many amazing opportunities "out there". Do a search for private label rights to something you are interested in. If you have no real interests, ask a friend, a member of the family: "What would you be interested in looking for, on the internet? What information would you like to have about your favourite subject?" Pretty soon you will have some answers to your very basic research! Then do a search for that information as a private label product - buy the licence, and now you're in business. Your searches will lead you to pages offering licences to the products you want to sell.
If you are still not sure how to do the rebranding and so forth, then find someone online who can and ask for their help - pay them for training, if you want a personal mentor. Education is not expensive, ignorance is! Invest in your business if you want to see real results. There are many web sites where people offer their services to write your sales pages, create your DVD covers, even create your web site for you. There even sites where they compete for the work you want done, driving down the cost of creating your new business through healthy competition to be of service to you. Like I say, work on your business, not in it.
Marketing your product is something else, but, at least now you have your product. Beware of only one thing on the internet. Beware of shiny metal objects that take your attention and hypnotise you into following them... taking you away from working on your business. Be focused. Check out the markets for your product - who wants it? Where can you sell it? There are answers to those questions out there. The secret is to find a mentor and stay with him or her. Someone who will give you the truth without the usual BS.
Let me tell you something... Success comes from good judgement, good judgement comes from experience, experience comes from making mistakes, making mistakes comes from bad judgement. Get the message? Of course, sometimes it doesn't go right, so you learn and move on. What if you could find someone who has made all those mistakes, do you think you could learn from them and short-circuit the length of time it will take for you to succeed? Find an expert and learn all you can.
You have to remember that at the outset, you will have to do a lot of work. But, the beautiful thing is that you have to only do it once! After that, your business runs on autopilot bringing you money while you sleep. Market your product effectively and your business will grow day by day, alongside your profits.
Finally, there is the public domain. Here there are literally millions and millions of content rich copy that you can use to create as many products as you like. You can legally take public domain copy and brand as your own. First, get some guidance from an expert, so that you don't get caught up in what is or isn't public domain material.
