Is your snoring preventing you and your partner from getting a peaceful night's sleep? Is it keeping you from sleeping in the same bed; because you can not sleep with the loud snoring sound? No more eating night time snacks or meals. Avoid eating at least 3-4 hours before you go to sleep. Your digestive system requires time to process the food. If you consume food before bed time; it will cause your neck muscles to relax and produce that loud awful sound.

Lose weight; most likely the snorer is overweight. It has been shown that if you are experiencing weight issues, your airways are more likely to collapse due to the pressure from the extra fat tissues around your neck. You should consider creating a diet and exercise plan to help you get back in shape. If you are not sure what foods to consume; you can always visit a dietician and they can recommend one for you.
