Don’t get scammed by unhealthy Detox Fads!
A detox should be specifically designed to offer dramatic health benefits in a short period of time. A detox diet should be so rich in essential nutrients and antioxidants that it enables your body to flush the toxins and pollutants that have accumulated over your lifetime. By the end of the week, you can expect to feel healthier and more energized than you ever have before.
Most detox programs are little more than scams that attempt to cash in on people’s genuine attempts to achieve a better state of health. Unfortunately, these other detox diets rarely have scientific support and are generally based entirely on nutritional myths. A perfect example of an unscientific detox is the 'Lemonade Diet'. This detox fad involves consuming nothing but homemade lemonade for up to 14 days and beyond!
A safe and healthy detox, on the other hand, should be based entirely on findings from studies presented in the most prestigious peer-reviewed medical and nutritional journals. For example, unlike most other detox plans, you should not be fasting or starving yourself. You can eat as much as you want of certain foods, because they are so nutritionally powerful and dramatically boost the body's ability to detox. You want to eat foods that require minimal effort to digest and yet are the most nutritionally dense foods on earth. This gives your body the energy and nutrients it needs to detoxify the whole body.
