How To Blog for MLM Leads - Just a Couple of Things You're Overlooking

Expert Author Bronwen L. Oehlschlager

Do you remember when you first started learning how to blog? You probably bought some incomplete training e-book (like I did) and set up your blog only to learn that you never get any traffic, right?

Well, I'm not actually going to teach you everything you need to know about getting traffic to your blog in this article.

Keep your eyes open at the end of this article for that information.

For here and now I'm simply going to cover two very important points that keep rearing their ugly heads in the lives of a few of my students. Doing this two little things are destined to improve your stats at least a little, if not a lot.

Let's learn a bit about How To Blog... how about that?

* Benefit From Keywords.

It only takes a few minutes to check on which keywords are getting looked for. Then it only takes a little bit of creativity to write an article and use the words a couple of times.

I have several lead generators in training who refuse to use any keywords. They just randomly write articles without realizing that the search engines can't index your content into a category to be searched for if you won't stay on topic and use words that people are looking for.

In the beginning of my career just after I really began getting enthusiastic about being an author online I created a few popcorn stories. I got lots of traffic from Twitter and Facebook, I just didn't get the kind of traffic I needed to make a difference to anyone, myself included.

I DID get a ton of traffic from people looking for information about popcorn!

But that's not what I wanted. I was simply using popcorn as a way of teaching sticking with it and having a confident viewpoint regarding what it takes to "pop up success".

That's your aim too. Here's a brief list of a few competent keywords to start with:

* MLM Leads

* Low Cost Lead Generation

* Best MLM Leads

* Blogging

* Article Marketing

* Backlinking

* Company Names

* Etc.

If you're up to the challenge of getting beyond the initial learning curve this whole entire process is quite simple. Don't give up before you start. *wink*

Don't get troubled if you observe that a lot of people are using the same keywords. The aim of Mastering blogging is to understand that only the top notch online people are in fact doing what it takes to get hordes of traffic to their blog (no cost traffic) and you can compete. There aren't that many people on the internet who are consistent. You can easily become one of the top marketers.

* Make your posts long enough.

Disconnect blogging and article marketing in your mind. (Especially if you're learning to blend the two.)

In blogging you should create your copy no shorter than 200 words long or longer. 200 words is good enough, and if you put your targeted keyword in 2 times (1 time for each 100 words you use is the rule of thumb) with a text link as well then the search engines will be able to index your post.

Article marketing is your method of creating backlinks to your blog so that you can get fashionable with the search engines. Don't know what I'm talking about? There is a lot to learn. Make sure you ask for help if you get stuck.

On to the next point.

* Write to one person.

You are probably like a lot of other brand new (and intermediate) marketers who suppose that a great big sales pitch is bound to get you the lead or the sale. Don't get sucked into that line of thinking.

Carrying on an genuine dialogue with one person, like I am with you right now, and providing skills that that person can take advantage of is the way to mature an tangible rapport.

If you really have any goal of helping people... paying it forward to help yourself... well, consider of the individual your talking to. Are you servingthem?

I can inform you right now that making a big extravaganza just to try to get leads (and not to help someone first) is glaringly obvious and people click the back button faster than they can finish reading the first three lines of your page.

Blogging is about being social. So be social. *wink*

I think that will do it for today. I hope I've given you something to consider.

These are actual issues that I've run into with some of my students over the past couple of days. Making a small adjustment is a good idea. Now you know a little bit more about how to blog.

See you at the top!
