Consider this in regards to your life. Everything is a challenge. Waking up and getting out of bed is a challenge. It is easy to get up if your whole life is in good shape, but when things are not going so good, we all would rather stay in bed and get away from it all. Getting up every morning and tackling whatever life throws at you - that's what separates the weak and the strong. See yourself as an example for others. Consider yourself somebody else is looking up to and if you do that, you do develop positive energy. You can then use this energy to put a big dent into all the little issues and problems that bother you and eventually make your life miserable.
Positive energy is important. I cannot tell you how my life has changed when I had finally figured out how to use even the smallest success to make me feel stronger. With each little success I was able to reach higher and to get more things accomplished. I am not a super hero and neither you have to be one. Success does not always mean to be rich and famous. Success can be something your kids see and makes them think that you are the best Mom or Dad in the entire world. It does not matter how big or small the actual accomplishment behind it. Being the super hero for my 4 year old is something that fills me with pride and provides me with positive energy, too. I can use this energy in my job or in everyday things in life. I am not a handy man nor have I learned how to fix certain things by going to school or so. Some things I picked up on the way to where I am today. With more positive energy there is more confidence. And with more confidence there is more success and with more success ... do you see a pattern here?!
So, it is not trivial with what you consider a challenge. It is important to start with the smaller challenges and as you go and have success, you "upgrade" your challenges. You can only grow with challenges that grow with you. Once you mastered a challenge it is no longer a challenge - it is a routine. And a routine is what makes us lazy and unsuccessful. You can settle for that if you like, but your life will become empty and once you hit a real challenge you do not know how to tackle it and how to master it. That's when you have a real problem. Where do you go from there? Give up or stand up and fight? When I was younger I gave up or looked for a sneaky workaround. Today I tackle the challenge. Sometimes I lose, but the more often I do it, the more often I win.
