How Much Time Should You Spend With Your Dog?

How much time would you spend with your pup? All day long, half a day or few hours a day?

What is the ideal time period or time limit you should spend with your pup?

I would say, you can spend as much time as you can with you pup, there is not limit for it. Spending time with your dog is actually same like spending time with your kids where anything can be turned into quality time. How can you do it? Let me share with you few examples, while watching movie, have you dog lie next to you and give your dog a belly massage. Or get your dog along with you when you are running some errands as long as it is convenient or when you are doing gardening, take him out with you. I always practice this. Dogs really appreciate of getting the extra attention and time from their master.

Do these, dog owners, live your life and get your dog come along in your life. If you don't intend to spend your time with your dog, then don't get yourself a dog. It is meaningless to have a dog if you are not willing to spend time with them.

Spend more of time with your pup especially when they are still puppies below 12 months old. Puppies need interaction which is equal to communication with their owner in order to develop a good relation. Basically, me and my dog, play, walks and do some dog training together and also sleep together!
