How Horses Support Relationship Marketing Outcomes For Creative Business Owners

As a creative, you "get" that the integrity of your creative expression (i.e. your business) is as central to a healthy life as breathing is. Things go off course quickly when creatives are separated from their creativity.

For creative business owners, this often happens when the "harder" business skills that have been so prized overshadow your most profound gifts to the business as its leader. While you can't put your finger on the specific time and place that your actions aren't flowing from your heart's intention; you can feel the chaos ramping up.

So how can the horses help you to move through this with confidence, wisdom and integrity?

By nature, horses are prey animals. This means that their life literally depends upon their ability to know the true intention of any creature coming into their space.

Remember we talked about how creativity is like breath for you? When the connection between your actions and your heart's pure intention becomes muddled, the horses let you know in a way that you can feel it in your body. They don't communicate through words, only through non-verbal and invisible cues, the language of creativity, which is precisely what allows you to "see" that disconnect in a way that's not possible when information is only coming in through the head.

This is enormously helpful for creative business owners when you get wrapped up in the "head" i-ness of running your business.

Julie Lynch, owner of Uncommon Consulting, creates a real-life example for you as she shares about her experience with the horses...

I made powerful connection with one horse instantly, and his physical response gave me true insight into what was in my way. Honestly, I was stunned by the experience. I didn't expect it, don't fully understand it, and am the last person to think a horse could tell me something so important - tell me he did; in no uncertain terms. As Kathy says, it's what's right in front of you - though we often can't see it.

Now, Julie was able to understand where her actions and intention were off-course in her business, and this is the place where Right Action comes from. In her own words, Julie describes what happened next...

The program provided the opportunity for powerful introspection and Kathy is masterful at transforming those insights into actionable goals for business success. My clients get the best of me, every time and I am solidly confident in what I'm delivering and in the value my clients are receiving.

Being in relationship with horses re-awakens your creative soul, and from there, we can get to work on the structure that allows your essence to come through in your business so you are in integrity on the inside and the outside.

Oh and by the way, working with the horses is fun for creative business owners because your work and your life are becoming one; there is no separation with the horses. And that's an enormously powerful stimulus for true transformation!
