How Do You Burn Fat? Keep It Simple and Fun

People always ask me which routines and exercises are the best. They want to know 'how do you burn fat'. It is no big surprise that there are so many exercises that are capable of helping people lose weight. Since there are so many to choose from, I have included the basic ones that I use in this article.

Swimming - If you have joint problems, this is the exercise for you. You will build muscle around your joints while losing weight. This increase in muscle around problem areas should make it much easier to graduate to other exercises with less pain.

Swimming also uses all of the major muscle groups and so increases your overall muscle mass. This results in more calories being burned and more fat lost in the long run.

Jump Rope - This is a simple exercise that we have all done since we were children. It works many muscle groups and strengthens your core. It is not as simple as when we were kids though; it can be an intense workout. It should be done for 10 to 20 minutes at a steady pace.

Jumping rope is similar to running as far as your body is concerned; it works the same muscle groups. If it is raining outside and you do not want to get wet during your run, then try jump roping.

Running - This is meant to be a very high intensity workout. The more intense, the better the results. Do not overdo it though. If you are not used to running, take it slow at first. As your stamina and endurance improves then it is okay to step up the intensity. For good benefits, you only need to do about 20 to 30 minutes of running about 3 to 4 days out of the week.

The most fun way to lose weight is joining a sports club. Many people say that you should join a gym but if there is a sport that you enjoy, why not lose fat and have fun at the same time. Most sports teams have fitness programs incorporated into their practices so you should still get a good workout.
