If you have any thoughts that you may have an issue with a yeast Infection of Candida Albicans, doing the easy Candida Spit Test that might give you a better indication...
It is not fully clear how the test came about, however it has been in existence for some time now. I recommend you use it as an indicator only as it is only meant to provide an indication, and should not be relied upon as your only form of diagnosis.
This is how you go about doing a Candida Spit Test:
Get a see through glass, top it up with water and put it near your bed or in the bath room so that you remember to do the test the very first thing you do in the morning. As you get up, you may need to wait for some saliva to build in your mouth. Once this has happened spit it into your glass.
This must be done 1st thing. If you brush your teeth, eat or drink, the results will be no good. Do not even sneak a quick good morning Kiss in first... I am certain they can wait for a minute or 2.
Immediately make note of how the saliva looks.
Check again 2 or 3 minutes later. After you have caught up on that Kiss...
Try and observe your Candida spit test again in 15 min intervals. If possible your Candida spit test should be carried out over an hour. It should not be done for less than 30 minutes. Healthy saliva will be clear, it will float on top and it will slowly dissolve into the water without any cloudiness and without sinking.
- There are normally some bubbles or foam present.
- These are the things you will see that may indicate a yeast infection.
- A stringiness that goes towards the bottom.
- Cloudy saliva that sinks to the bottom of the glass.
- Cloudy specks suspended in the water.
If you see any or all of these signs and that they develop quite quickly, these are an indication that you have a problem with a yeast infection.
On the assumption that your Candida Spit test indicated that you are likely to have some sort of yeast or Candida overgrowth. The best place to begin is to review the foods that you consume. They may not necessarily have sparked this problem, but they are more than likely a very real contributor. This needs to be resolved to avoid ongoing issues.
Some of the food groups that can cause a problem are those with high sugar content, that contain yeast, and dairy products. Some other foods that may also cause a problem are, Vinegar, Mushrooms, processed foods, coffee and tea and dried, processed or pickled meats.
Other contributing factors are the use of oral contraceptives, steroids, antacids, or frequent or long-term use of antibiotics pregnancy smoking food allergies and intolerances and diabetes.
Seeking the advice of your General Practitioner is obviously something you need to do. Please treat your Candida Spit Test as just an easy test to do prior to seeing the doctor. They can run their tests to diagnose what is going on in much more depth than the Candida spit test.
