Well, the good thing is that you have already taken the first step in preventing your divorce by recognizing that there may be a problem with your marriage. Just by coming to the realization you will now be able to confront your spouse to get their input and see how the feel about the status of the marriage.

• Open the lines of communication. A strong marriage always has good communication between the spouses. When the communication breaks down, that is when things can start to go south in the marriage. So start up som pillow talk with your spouse and use small talk to gauge how your spouse feels about your relationship and if they have any ideas in changes that can help spark the marriage.

• Get out and get to know each other again. Our daily obligations can sometimes take up all our time and drag our marriage down to the ground if we are not careful. Remember that you and your spouse need that alone time in order to stay involved. Get a babysitter and go out for a night on the town. Reconnect with each other and get that spark back in your relationship.

• If you are having problems getting your spouse to communicate with you, start lavishing them with gifts to let them know that you are still attracted to them. I know that flowers are a great way to get to a woman's heart. And my wife is constantly making sure that I get those great seats to my local sporting events.
