Hobbies have been a very great part of keeping people occupied when boredom could otherwise overcome them. Many people have spent a lot of time and money keeping up with their hobbies, however, did you know that many of the hobbies that you spent money on could be used to make money FOR YOU?

Crocheting, of course, is probably the highest paying hobby. The items that can be made from fairly inexpensive, yet durable, washable crochet thread include such things as: Bedspreads, Curtains, Couch Covers, Tablecloths. Quilting should also be on your short list of hobbies that make money. The fine art of quilting is fast becoming a lost art in today's fast paced world. Combinations, such as bath oils, perfumes, skin care items, can be creatively displayed and marketed at Swap Meets or, again, over the internet. These are nice gifts for people to buy their friends year round!

The last item on this list of hobbies that make money is Gardening. Think about it. You have spent a bit of time tilling, weeding, pruning and making the best things to make your garden/house look like a green paradise. Share this with others (for a profit!) You have extra seedlings, or you can make extra seedlings. Put them up for sale! Or better yet, offer your consulting services! Create your own Rent -A- Plant service! Could you market yourself as a plant expert? For many people, I bet you could!
