Being in love certainly has its share of ups and downs. One week you can feel on top of the world, confident in the love and devotion of your man. The next week you may start to question what's going on when you realize he's becoming distant. Men don't start to pull away from a woman for no reason. Something has happened to change how he feels and unless you figure out what that is and how to remedy it, the relationship may be damaged beyond repair.

Men become distant for several reasons none of which is because they are scared of falling in love too quickly. This is actually something women tell one another to avoid the pain they experience when their man starts to act distant. Men become distant typically because something in the relationship has changed for them. They don't feel as connected to you as they once did. This can happen if you sleep with a man too soon, if you push him for a commitment before he's ready, if you let your insecurities show too often and even if you are too overly emotional. A man pulling away is the first sign that a break up is down the road.

If you recognize that you have indeed made a mistake with your man, you need to remedy it. How you do this depends a great deal on what you did wrong, but generally speaking you want to correct the behavior as soon as possible. If there's something about you that is unappealing to him, you have to bury it inside you. If you know that he isn't comfortable with your jealousy issues, stop being envious of others. If the problem is that you told him you loved him too early in the relationship, treat him more like a friend now. You have to do whatever it takes to show him that the mistake you made was simply a short term, one time, lapse of judgment. If you can do this, it will pave the way for a promising future with the man you adore.
