Herculiner Reviews - Cheap Truck Bed Coating
Print This Article Ezine Publisher Send To Friends Add To Favorites Post A Comment Suggest Topic Report Author

Herculiner Reviews make it seem like you can install a bed liner for nearly no money and nearly no time. Believe me, it's not as simple as that. That's what we found when we used bed liner paint on our old pickup. Here's the way it went...

As you probably know, the Herculiner bed liner coating is just one of several brands of liner paint. See, it's not a magic coating. After all, it is polyurethane paint. You have to do several steps right to get a good paint job that will last. The hardest part is preparation.

Getting the bed prepared to paint is what is often left out in the Herculiner review. Maybe because that step takes some real work. It's not that hard, but this step can't be skipped.

Preparation is really just washing the bed to get off the wax and grease. Make sure you use an automotive cleaner especially made to remove those materials. Then the only other real trick is a good sanding. Now this is the easiest kind of sanding. All you need is a really rough sanded surface to get a good paint stick. No fine sanding is required, just a really scratchy, rough sanding.

After preparation comes the easy part.

Putting on truck bed paint couldn't be easier. That's because the paint is so thick and has so much texture, it covers almost any kind of defect. What's more, you can brush it on, roll it on or spray it on and the finished coat looks the same. That's because of the type of paint. It looks almost just like a much more expensive spray on liner.

Now it isn't the same though. But mainly because it isn't nearly as thick as a professional liner. But it isn't nearly as expensive either.

Plus with the Herculiner you can get a color other than black too. You can choose red, gray and white as well. Also the Herculiner coating is noted for it's very thick appearing texture. That's because the rubber pieces in the paint are larger than the competition. It looks even more like a pro liner than other liner paints do.

Herculiner Reviews often fail to mention the preparation required to use bed liner paint. It isn't hard, but careful prep work is key to a bed liner coating that lasts and looks just like you want it to.

Using truck bed paint is a fast, cheap way to get a better looking pickup. For more about the Herculiner Bed Liner visit our website.
