Have you experienced going out with your friends like hanging out in a club or just partying along with them? Sometimes, even though you are not into alcoholic drinks, you are being asked or let's say forced to try some whiskey shot in cups. To avoid being called kill-joy, you abide by their request and before you know it, your head is spinning and you become less likely your normal self. I guess that's why in most bars, whiskey shots are often offered in plastic glasses. Since the customer may get tipsy during the event, the club owners are just playing safe and are sparing themselves from losing expensive glasses.
These clubs invest in nice and fragile glasses usually to attract customers. However, there are times when they change those glasses into plastic cups especially if their guests are enjoying much in their drinking sessions. To keep these cups appealing, they usually add some customization on it. Of course a very simple way to make these cups unique is by having their bar's name or logo on it. In different colours, plastic cups remain its main purpose, which is to hold up any liquids, be it liquor or water.
It is not easy to tell when the guests lose their control while inside the bar, especially if they already had alcohol inside their body. With some safety precautions in mind, bar owners envision possible scenarios when things get out of hand. With the majority of plastic glasses in their establishment, it is more likely that few may get hurt if ever violence occurred. With a plastic cup on a guest's hand, probably it will be his first tool to create commotion. And what harm can you expect from a plastic cup if ever it was thrown on you? You will get scrapes perhaps and other than that nothing else.
