People often consider that there is no way that chocolate can be healthy. It is perceived to be very high in calories and fat, and a very unhealthy product to consume. On top of that, the sugar is known to have bad connotations. Therefore, we're told to limit our intake of chocolates to a minimum, only saving it for special occasions. Despite this, it's obviously hard to control our urges since the food is so delicious.

People who suffer from diseases such as diabetes should try and avoid eating chocolate at all. However, there are times that those cravings need to be satisfied, so take small portions, and like everything else, remember that too much of things is not necessarily good.
