You probably aren't supposed to see the Vera Bradley patterns for the fall 2009 season yet, but I have seen them and knew there would be a lot of people that would want to see them as well. There are just 3 new patterns that will be revealed later on in August, but there are several test stores across the country that have sold a few of the new designs to give the public a taste of things to come.
So far, there are a lot of different opinions on the patterns. Some Vera fans really some to love them, but there are others who simply can't stand them. I even found a lady who was glad she didn't like the designs because she could not afford to buy any new purses anyway.
The three patterns to come out are Blue Rhapsody, Carnaby, and Pirouette.
Of the three patterns, the Blue Rhapsody looks like a knockoff style that some other company made in hopes that people would think it was a true Vera Bradley pattern. The colors are teal and emerald with a dark brown background, but the teal colors seemed a little too bright for my tastes. It has some paisley and floral designs that make up the look, and more of an appeal to the younger generation of Vera fans.
The Carnaby is a lovely little pattern with autumn colors much like the Puccini. But these colors are a little warmer and the design is not so abstract. There are nice big flowers and tiny leaves decorating it, and the theme is more of a deep red than the other colors.
The Pirouette pattern is one that seems like a remake of an old classic pattern. It reminds me of the Classic Black and has a simple black background with white and red flowers organized neatly all around it.
