What if there was a way to know for sure that if you used a certain hair loss treatment, your hair would grow back? That would certainly be lovely wouldn't it?
But we live in an imperfect world where nothing is guaranteed to us, and for that matter regrowing our hair using various hair loss treatments definitely isn't a promise. We've all stumbled upon some type of product for baldness that told us how great it has worked for others and how if we use it we are seemingly guaranteed to have the same results.
Blah blah blah, that's all a bunch of talk as we know it, and it's just to get us to spend a dollar on some useless product. Well you will be happy to know that you can actually do something about your thinning hair problem and see great benefits. Benefits that you will be proud of.
What's more is that what I'm going to outline to you are very simple, cheap, and best of all effective means of regrowing your hair. Guy or girl, you can have more hair.
But first let me tell you a little truth about why we get bald. Let's start with guys first since we are the ones who are more likely to lose our hair than women. Men will usually start to have a receding hairline or thinning hair due to an evil hormone that's in our bodies.
This hormone is called DHT and it is a byproduct of the hormone testosterone. It will not harm your body and it's not toxic or anything of that nature, but it does kill healthy hair cells. The way it works is that when testosterone depletes from your body, it turns into DHT.
The DHT binds to hair follicle receptor cells and weakens them down to the root till they can't take it any longer so they die. You don't realize what's happening, all you see is your hair falling out day by day.
So guys listen carefully, if you don't want this to be a continuous problem, you need to start taking some herbs and vitamins exclusively for this. One of which has been heralded as the father of them all is saw palmetto.
Just taking 1,500 mg per day of it is the recommended dose to effectively ward off this culprit, hair killing hormone.
Now ladies you may lose your hair for various reasons but yours are easier to pinpoint. If you are on any birth control pills or other hormone related medications, be aware that these most certainly can have hair thinning effects.
You should be ready to do some research on any that you're taking and check to see if they have hair loss listed as a possible side effect. If this is the case it would be wise to start talking with your doctor about a change in medication.
One last trick that both guys and girls can perform that will help you all in the aid of hair growth is the use of scalp massage. I often hear people say that they don't think it will help regrow hair but that's only because they haven't utilized the method.
