The HTC HD2 mobile phone is here and it has left gadget lovers thrilled about the various features on offer. The HD2 is a new addition to the HTC collection and gives you the best any phone can offer.

Appearance:

This latest HTC phone is sleek and stylish. The dimensions of the HD2 are 120.5 x 67.0 x 11.0 mm. It weighs around 157 grams.

Processor and Operating System:

The phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD2850 1 GHz processor. It makes use of the updated version of Windows Mobile 6.5.

Display:

The HTC Touch HD2 has a large 4.3 inch capacitive touch screen with WVGA display. The screen has a resolution of 480x800 pixels which is one among the best in the market. The screen supports up to 65,000 colors. Additional features include auto rotate, ambient light sensor, auto turn off proximity sensor, multi touch input etc. The good display makes watching images and videos on the phone a visual treat.

User Interface:

The HD2 makes use of HTC's Sense User Interface. This makes the phone user friendly. The Sense UI enlarges elements f the interface so that they can be accessed with the touch of a finger. Additional features of the UI include colorful icons, tab views, widgets and so on.

Windows Mobile Features:

This new touch screen phone gives you a great Windows Mobile experience with powerful messaging, browsing and internet capabilities. Additional features include organizer, calendar, memo, alerts etc. Windows Mobile makes use of Microsoft Exchange to enable the user to manage several e-mail accounts simultaneously. Another attractive feature is Microsoft's My Phone which permits users to back up and synch data between the phone and the internet with ease. You can download more cool applications from the Windows Marketplace for Mobile.

Connectivity:

This HTC device supports quad band GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 networks and dual band UMTS with 7.2 Mbps HSDPA and 2 Mbps HSUPA. GPRS, EDGE, WLAN, HSCSD and Bluetooth technology are also present.

The Touch HD 2 comes with built in GPS. There is an optional car kit which transforms the UI into a navigation aid.

The conversation may be in the form of text or call or Facebook updates. Another key feature is that you can call someone while sending them an e-mail by simply pressing the call button. Such integrated approaches make it easy to stay in touch.

Additional features:

Other than all the above discussed features, you will also enjoy regular weather reports, FM radio, games and video on the HTC HD2.
