In this article I'm going to cover gynecomastia reduction. I'm going to go explain ways to reduce your man boobs for those that don't want to go under the knife. Its perfectly understandable if you aren't looking to get your moobs surgically removed. The costs for surgery are extremely expensive. Surgeons fee alone range from $2500 to $3200. This isn't even including operating fee which is around $1500 and anesthesia which is about $250 per hour. Most people can't afford this sort of treatment as its not covered in most insurance plans. There are more practical ways to reduce your boobs, explained below are options you can take to realistically reduce your boobs.

If You're A Teen

If your from the ages of 13 - 21 and you're going through puberty, it's very common for you to experience breast enlargement. 65% of all males going through puberty will in some form experience this. You're body is going through many changes which includes hormonal fluctuations of testosterone and estrogen. The most important thing to realize is that your body will most likely adjust fully and conditions will go away within a few years.

Diet - Gynecomastia is caused by a wide variety of factors which includes puberty, steroid abuse, and obesity. If your obese, the extra fat in your body induces it to produce an increased amount of estrogen. One way to combat this is to adopt a healthier diet. Focus on eating "good" carbohydrates that are rich in fiber, fills you up, nutritious, and are low in calories. This can be found in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Also, chances are you're giving your body a lot more than what it actually needs which means you should cut down your portion sizes. Eating smaller and more frequent meals will dramatically increase your body's metabolism.

Cardio - Cardio is extremely important to reduce the fatty tissue that resides on top of your pectoral muscles. There isn't one best activity I would suggest. Whatever you do, I would suggest doing interval training. This is varying the degrees of difficulty throughout your workout. I recommend sticking to a 1:3 ratio of hard to easy which means if you were biking, bike as hard as you can for a minute, and easy for about 3 minutes, and then repeat. I suggest this style because this high intensity style will have your body burning calories not only during your workout, but hours after.

All of this won't do any good if you don't...

All the physical training in the world can only do so much for gynecomastia reduction if you don't balance out your hormones. Since your boobs are a result from an increased estrogen amount in your body, they are very similar to those of a woman. This means that you can't fully remove your boobs without solving this issue. There are programs that are available that offer natural ways for you to balance out your hormones. When coupled with an effective physical training program, its a realistic approach to fully remove your boobs.
