Halloween is one of the most widely entertaining seasons in the year. This is mostly attributed to the fun costumes worn by people and costume parties that are being held. This is the one time in the year that a person can look absolutely crazy, and it will be completely normal! One of the most common is the costume's Greek style. This is because it is both interesting and easy to do. There are so many different characters that you can be for Halloween, such as characters from mythology and ancient history. Here is a short list for the kinds of Greek characters that you can be:

1. Athena - Athena, in Greek mythology, is the goddess of wisdom, war, the arts, industry, justice and skill. She is one of the most popular characters for costumes Greek style. Women love to be her for Halloween because of the admirable things that she stands for, and the fact that she has such a strong character even amongst the male gods.

2. Medusa - If you're feeling a little evil and want to be someone much more mischievous for Halloween, Medusa is the most popular in that category. According to Greek mythology, Medusa could turn anyone who looked straight into her eyes to stone. This costume includes many layers of flowing black material that is layered, and some even come with a complimentary headdress. Add a little black eye make-up and you're ready to channel Medusa for the night!

3. Hercules -Hercules is popular in costumes Greek style because, well, Hercules is a stud. Considered probably the greatest hero in all of Greek mythology, he is strong, fearful, and devastatingly good-looking. Why else will so many men want to be him for Halloween? This costume generally includes a tunic, body armor, cape, headdress, and a sword.

4. Caesar - If you want to channel a mighty emperor, Caesar is the right costumes Greek style for you. There are many different kinds of this costume because Caesar is an important historical figure, but more often than not it includes a while tunic and a red sash that is held together by a gold bet. Sometimes there are also laurels and a sword included in the costume package.

5. Mark Anthony - Mark Anthony was a Roman politician and general, and was a mover and shaker of the ancient times. Going as Mark Anthony for Halloween can make a man feel just as powerful and important as he once was. This costume includes a tunic with a red cape, and a woven pattern belt and trim. Some packages also include a gold plastic headdress and even some gold wristbands.

There are so many costumes Greek style that you can use. If you're in a rush and you don't have time to look around so much for a specific character, there are a lot of general Greek costumes that you can also use. All you need is a toga, a few leaves around your head, and some brown sandals, and you can look like an authentic Grecian man or woman!
