Host Gator is great for hosting and they help you design as well. WordPress is free to add templates to your sites. You will learn as you go along. This also beats any summer jobs for kids because you will be earning right throughout the year.
Another good job for kids to do is data capturing and the filling out of forms is also available to kids. This is not difficult to do. It just takes a bit of time, but you can set aside a couple of hours a day and start earning an attractive wage.
