Goodbye Eating Disorder!

There are many factors which lead to one having eating disorder. Being anorexic, bulimic or eating compulsively, a good way to resolve all these eating disorder problems that you may have is to consult a doctor. However there are some ways that I would like to share with you.

Learning to Eat and Not Skip

Moving out of your "eating disorder" self might be difficult but it is important and once you are out of it, you can say goodbye to eating disorder. Firstly, there is a need to learn to eat normal range food that is available at home, if you have a really strict diet that you follow, slowly allow yourself to take it a wider variety of food and if you are underweight because of the small intake of food, slowly increase your food intake.

Most important point to take note of is not to ever skip any meals which most eating disorder patients does. Have regular meals of the correct portion. Do not overeat or eat too little. Have a well-balanced diet. Be constant in the amount of food intake so that your body would be able to settle into a consistent eating pattern. Choose your food based on the nutritional value and the amount of energy it gives you and not count the calories.

Give yourself constant reminder that healthy eating does not lead to unhealthy weight. You are supposed to what what you want to eat provided if it is healthy and cut down on foods that are unhealthy like deep-fried food.

Do not binge eat or avoid eating. It is no good for your body. Do not go on diets because diets would set you up to fail.

Do not take any appetite suppressants because the suppressants would trap you in a phase of eating and avoid eating. But of course, you can take supplement to counter any deficiencies which is caused by your diet when you have eating disorder but still you need a medical supervision if you were to take any of the supplements.

Do not weigh yourself every single day because weight would naturally varies from time to time, day to day but it will definitely not vary because of your diet and your weight is not an accurate indicator of the fat content in your body.

Lastly, be positive and say goodbye to eating disorder.
