Depending on the state that you live in, there may be stricter guidelines in place for making sure that your vehicle is up to standard.

Always keep in mind the fact that if your vehicle doesn't meet emission requirements or has other potential problems that you are already aware of but have failed to do anything about, that it could mean that you do not pass the inspection.
