How To Get Your Blog Ranked In The Search Engines

Hey, its Joshua here, and I wanted to provide you with my blog marketing strategy for getting blogs ranked in the search engines. Remember, getting your blog on the first page of Google means free traffic- and free traffic = sales.

One of the first things you need to learn as a blogger- is that you are more than just a blogger. You are, for all intensive purposes, an Internet Marketer -and marketing is always about creating traffic streams that will bring as many potential buyers to your blog.

Here is a strategy I use to make sure I give my blogs the best possible chance at getting ranked on the first page of the Google search rankings -as well as other search engines.

Its a simple strategy- and once you learn it- its something that you will use every time you start a new blog. Here goes.

Build A Blog With Content - When starting your blog - dont wait until later to add more pages and posts. As soon as you create the blog and make your 1st post- add anywhere from 7 - 10 pages of keyword related content. This will help to to gain more expert status- as well as give the search engine spiders plenty of content to look at when ranking your blog.

Write An Article For Each Page - Not only do you want to write an article using your main keyword as your title- you need to write an article for EACH and EVERY page ON YOUR BLOG. name the article after your pages name and link to the page AND HOMEPAGE from each article.

Create Web 2.0 Sites- Create a Hubpage, Squidoo, or any other web 2.0 site and link it to your main blog or website - this will begin a process of making your blog look serious and important. The links from these sites give your blog higher standing in the search engine community. Link to your blog using relevant keywords- not only will you create links that mean something0 but these web 2.0 sites could get ranked on their own and sen you tons of free traffic as well.

Write Articles That Link To Your Web 2.0 Sites- As you did with your articles for your blog - do the same for the web 2.0 Properties- this will build up t he w4eb 2.0 sites- AND give them a better chance a getting ranked- cuz trust me, they can get ranked.

Bookmark and Ping Everything -After you create everything and follow steps 1-4, its time ti bookmark EVERYSINGLE blog post, blog page, article, web 2.0 site and more. Simply sign up for the social bookmarking sites and create links to EVERYTHING YOU CREATE/ This will help you get indexed faster - and give you better chance at getting your sites ranked
