A break up is not easy to deal with. The stress of the ordeal can leave you feeling heart broken and devastated. Many times when a relationship fails, one person in the relationship still wants to make it last. This is where the problems can arise. 

Although, it may seem hopeless if you still want to be with your ex, there is a proven plan to follow. The wrong move at this point can make things worse. This isn't meant to scare you, but instead let you know it is possible, but must be done with a plan that has been proven to work in getting back together with the ex. 

Your ex will be expecting you to not agree with the breakup. This is why the first thing you need to do is agree with it. This will make your ex wonder how you can be taking this so well, and will make him/her worry that maybe they made the wrong decision in the first place. Just tell your ex that you think this was the best decision for the both of you and the break will allow each of you to have some space.

The next step is to focus on yourself. Take the time to gain a new confidence in yourself that will carry you onward. Try a new hairstyle, join a gym, go out with friends. Sometimes as a relationship goes on, we start to neglect ourselves and our upkeep. Now is the time to take care of you. Not only will you gain confidence and self esteem, but your ex will be blown away with the new you, and wish they had never let you go.
