Did you know that you could get rid of the red ring of death permanently? Oh yes! it is possible, just to try to digest the information coming your way. There are few modification steps which you could take to repair your Xbox 360 of the red ring of death.

The originally designed elements and the parts used to build them were not enough and therfore could not cope with the excessive heating the Xbox 360 usually experiences. The basic cause of the red ring of death is overheating. A solution to this hardware inadequacy was discovered 2 years ago. This solution has rescued thousands of gamers from their misery permanently. This solution can truly help you get rid of your red ring of death problems permanently, too.

The correction of the hardware insufficiency of your Xbox 360 would require a few modification. The number one and most important is re-applying a more adequate thermal compounding paste on the GPU and CPU. The CPU and the GPU are protected from exposure directly, by the paste. The thermal paste that was formally in use was inadequate and so could not put up with the amount of heat produced by the Xbox 360.

The next modification step has to do with the heat sinks. Two pieces of hardware used to keep the GPU and CPU cool is what is known as the heat sink. The motherboard gets bent whenever the consoles get overheated. As a result of the fact that the sinks are directly connected to the motherboard, they loose their balance and so are unable to protect the CPU and the GPU. The GPU and CPU get exposed once that happens, and you get the red ring of death. The X-clamps have to be removed to get rid of this problem, and then making using a set of washers and screws, make a small adjustment to how the heat sinks are positioned on the motherboard. Put simply, this modification prevents the heat sink from being thrown off balance.

Haven completed these set of repairs, all you need do is re-assemble and power on your console. If you truly have done every thing correctly then you system would have gotten rid of the red ring of death permanently. The effectiveness of this repair cannot be overemphasized as it already has been tested and proved right by thousands all over the world.
