Get Rid of Lower Belly Fat Without Liposuction

Expert Author Eartha Haines

Lower belly fat or "the pouch" as it is also often commonly referred to is a concern for many people. Particularly for women who have given birth. Besides weight gain, many women are left with a little pouch of fat in the lower part of their stomachs. Rather than turn to costly cosmetic surgery such as tummy tucks or liposuction, there is a safer way to go about it and keeping it from returning.

Have you ever noticed women who have flat stomachs or even six-pack abs after having two or more children? It seems incredible doesn't it? Even impossible but really there is no big secret to how they've accomplished it. What it comes down to is learning the proper way to eat and how to burn body fat effectively.

You see, most of us who turn to diet and exercise to shed pounds often go about it without any type of guidance. We naturally turn to fad diets or some weird methods of exercise that don't last. Gimmicks never usually work because the results either don't come fast enough or don't last.

If you want lasting results, two things you will need to change are:

  • Eating habits
  • Types of exercise

Let's take care of eating habits first. Rather than turning to counting calories, an easier way to eat better is by cutting out all processed foods and eating clean. Clean eating is really good if you give it a chance. Rather than eating junk, you begin to eat high quality food that is good for you. That means food like lean meats, vegetables, fruit, nuts, and seeds.

As far as exercise, don't bother wasting time walking on treadmills or using elliptical machines. Your goal should be to burn the most fat you can in the least amount of time. The best way to accomplish this is with interval training or circuit training. What this means is performing one exercise after the other with little to no breaks in between. After performing several exercises (or rounds), you rest for a minute or two and repeat.

I have also implemented a great nutritional supplement that tastes just like a chocolate shake but without any of the guilt. It does wonders for my sweet tooth and junk food cravings.
