Get Rid of Back Acne - Part 1 For Achieving Acne Free Skin

"What's the best way to get rid of back acne?" is not usually the most commonly asked question on everyone's mind since it's common knowledge that acne generally occurs on the face, particularly in the area that is most prone to breakouts - the T-Zone.

These skin eruptions and inflammations usually start from the middle and sides of the forehead to the middle of the nose up to the chin area. The reason for this is that the face is very much exposed to dust and germs.

However, one should not only pay attention to the face, but to the other problem areas that are also greatly affected by acne such as the back. What exactly is it and how does one get rid of back acne?

Commonly referred to as 'bacne' or body acne, these blemishes are usually seen on the back and upper arms.

Aside from the regular pimples and blackheads, it may also take the form of pustules and cysts, which form deep under the surface of the skin. Not only is back acne unpleasant on the eyes, but it is also very much painful and annoying because of the discomfort it brings. That's why those afflicted with this skin ailment want to get rid of back acne as quickly as possible.

Unfortunately, there is not a lot of scientific and medical explanation on back acne. However, there are a few studies that suggest, just like facial acne, it occurs when one hits puberty.

It's also the time when the sebaceous glands, the ones responsible for secreting oil, are very much active. Once these glands produce an excess of oil, the pores and hair follicles get clogged and it becomes a breeding ground for germs, which then results in acne.

Although there is not a lot of evidence supporting that back acne is caused by tight clothing, too much sweat and heavy backpacks that stick to the skin, these can still be considered factors that can exacerbate and further aggravate the situation.

Here are some tips on how to get rid of back acne:

1. Washing regularly can help prevent back acne. The best skin regimen for this is to use an anti-bacterial soap. It's important, however, to keep things in moderation. Showering twice a day is enough to clean the skin. Too much of it can cause irritation and dryness.

2. Take a shower, especially after an activity wherein you've perspired a lot. There is a tendency that excess sweat can get trapped against your skin and mix with oils, causing the pores to get clogged and infected.

3. Regular exfoliation also helps to get rid of dead skin cells. You may use different exfoliators such as wash cloths, loofahs, or brushes to scrub these skin cells off your back to get rid of back acne.
