Generate More Leads

In this article, I am going to cover some techniques designed to generate more leads for you and your business. I'm sure that you've heard the phrase, "the money is in the list." In fact, I am a big believer in that phrase. However, you can't make any money if you don't have a list. So, here are some techniques that I personally use to get more leads every day I'm on the internet:

1. Article marketing. This technique is at the top of my "to do" list. You see, when you write an article and submit it to the different article directories, you're doing much more than just driving traffic to your website. In fact, you are building relationships with real people who are looking for solutions to their problems.

2. Social media. This would have to be number two on my list because it is kind of tricky to do. However, there is a huge number of people who are successfully setting up little social web pages that target a specific topic to generate leads to their own businesses. But, from my testing and tracking, this technique performs better if you build some page rank to your web pages. Simply create a web page about your topic and write articles linking to that page. Over time, if you properly use anchor text, your page rank will increase and so will your lead generation.

3. Social networking with Facebook. There is a very specific way to use this traffic technique and if you get it wrong, I suggest that you don't use it. However, if you get it right, you could easily get leads that are extremely targeted towards you niche topic. To do this, simply create a fan page that represents who your are and how you can help people. The idea is that you want to show people what your business is all about. The steps for this technique include, writing a compelling headline for you fan page, write a story about you, and post relevant content to your fans. Furthermore, make sure that you are being very humble with your posts because people don't like being spammed.

My advice with this traffic building technique is to be as professional as possible. Your image is on the line here. So, make sure that you post good content and are extremely helpful to your fans. This will definitely help you generate more leads to your business.
