Gardening is an enjoyable, healthy hobby for all, especially those who love the feel of the sunshine on their faces, the rich black soil in their hands and the wafting scent of growing plants and flowers. Their fragrance is heady, intoxicating, and irresistible. If you grow produce, the fruits of your labors bring many rewards along with the knowledge you are giving your family the freshest, safest, and nutritionally dense produce available. Sadly though, gardening can become almost unbearable for those with limited mobility, or those who endure chronic pain and stiffness due to fibromyalgia, arthritis or other situations which make bending, standing and weeding difficult, if not impossible. If you are suffering from any of these, the waist high garden box is a much needed invention.

Easy to build, long lasting, easily accessible, and portable, the waist high gardening box brings back the joy of gardening. Consisting of two plastic tubs measuring three feet long by two feet wide, there is ample room for plants to grow and thrive. Some gardeners add on trellises for vining plants such as peas, or situate their boxes against a deck railing then plant cucumbers or other trailing plants.

Because of the ease of portability, waist high garden boxes may be moved to any area you desire. If you need constant sunshine on your veggies or a little more shade on your impatiens, there is always an ideal location and a simple move to rectify the situation. Accessing your garden box is easier when it is adjustable for height comfort. Whether you are in a wheelchair, a first time gardener, or a child, the height adjustments can be made so that it is a perfect fit for you.

Children especially, love to garden. They have a keen interest in watching as each plant they chose themselves, grows larger each day, until finally it is time to harvest the results of their efforts. Mealtime is more fun when a child has been allowed to grow his own produce, as he will more readily want to taste it.

Whether you are a first time or experienced gardener, have limited mobility, are in a wheelchair or you have children, a waist high garden box will give you ease of use for seasons to come.
