Has your computer been acting sluggish or running slowly? It's a fact that about 92 percent of computers that both you and I utilize have corrupted of harmful files. On average, almost every pc will have about 100 plus errors on them due to corrupt or missing files. So why do registry problems occur and when are they likely to happen?

Firstly, If you have gone and bought yourself a new computer, clearly you won't have any registry problems yet as you would not have installed any new applications or software. However, as time passes your registry will grow as you constantly add and remove software and other programs from your pc. The frequent additions and removals of software will eventually cause your windows registry to become fragmented and full of errors.

Lets take a look at the common registry errors a person can expect to have:

1. Missing, broken or bad application/Windows paths, shortcuts and links

2. Unwanted browser objects

3. Unused and obsolete Start Menu items

4. Missing or corrupt application files

5. Corrupt Active X/COM Objects

6. Obsolete shared DLLs and folders.

7. Registry integrity and shell folder entries including My Documents, profiles and favourites.

These are only a few of the many problems one can expect to find with their registry.

Now most people will look at the above and have no clue as to what those details mean, but that's okay. All you need to understand is that when you remove software programs from a computer, residuals will still litter your hard drive and registry, thus causing problems.

The result of this is that you will experience frequent error messages, slow windows start ups, performance decreases and unstable frequent application errors. It is even a fact that some programs you install on your computer never really even uninstall or remove themselves completely, resulting in traces being left in your registry and undeleted drivers on your system.

I hope this article helped your understanding of why registry errors occur. If you would like to get access to a top rated free registry cleaner please visit the website below.
