You just can't take moaning moping and moving around like a big Moby Dick any more. Seems everybody's got a life except you.

This writer is here to tell you, you will get through. What you need is 1 tip to help you bury your past.

Here it is:

If it is an engraved invitation, Dear Widow, you are looking for to unseat your sad sorry butt out of that chair, stop reading here. The rest of you ladies, listen up. There is no magic fairy dust to make you feel better. What is necessary to make a new start is right there inside you. As Dainin Katagri says, “All you have to do is be you as you are.”

I know it’s hard losing a lover, a best friend, a husband, but later than sooner, there comes a time a widow’s gotta do what is necessary to get on with the chore of living her life, and that means taking care of you.

So get up. Get out. Go get your hair done. Go get your finger nails painted peachy pink. While you are at it, have the manicurist paint your toenails, too. What? Dear Widow, you say you can’t afford a salon? No problem. Do what this widow does. Do it yourself. The act of getting to the cheap store will get you off your sad sorry butt, it will distract your brain, and it will help you regain focus, which is necessary to heal your broken heart. If you do as I say, Dear Widow, you will see for yourself. And betcha a new pair of on-sale sunglasses, you will look good, you will feel good, and you will be one giant baby step closer in getting on with the best of your life.

Still reading? Hey! Unsnap that clam shell cell phone. Make that appointment. Get out that chair. Get to the drug store.

Go ahead. I dare you.
