But specially the leafy green vegetables are great against halitosis. Another great strategy to fight halitosis is to simply slice a carrot in the morning and put it into a ziplock bag. Then, every once in a while during the day, take out a piece of carrot and chew on it as long as possible.

It is important that you keep the carrot in your mouth and chew it for several minutes before you swallow it. This helps to stimulate your natural saliva production and reduce stinky breath. Green leafy vegetables would be even better, but it is not always as convenient as carrots.
