Allow me to rehash one of your most painful memories. You get a call at the office. It's your boss Jim's secretary, and she has some good news. Jim has heard from a few of your fellow cohorts that you like to go golfing on the weekends. He has decided to take you out to the course to get to know you a little better (and perhaps talk about a promotion!).
Fast forward a few days, its 9:00 AM Saturday morning, and you are at the first tee, staring at your ball, you have your new anti slice driver in hand, your boss is behind you, and you are shaking like a leaf.
Why so anxious? Because this tee shot will introduce Jim to the real you. Are you confident when you approach your ball, or are you at the mercy of the game before you even take your first swing? Bosses have the innate ability to sense fear. Jim can read you well.
You swing your club as carefully as you can, but you feel your right shoulder drop just before contact, and your ball disappears to the right. Looks like that new driver didn't help. Wave goodbye to that ball, and goodbye to that promotion, because you just hit the classic nervous shot. The slice.
Novice golfers will tell you that a slice can be fixed with a simple swing mechanic change. Let's go back for a second, the word fix is used here. Tell me this, can you fix a leaky pipe with a wad of gum? No? Well you can't fix a slice by just gripping the club a certain way. Golf is 80% mind.
Dave Moore has uncovered some amazing secrets with his revolutionary methods of mind to swing adaptation. In order to swing with confidence, you must have confidence. This sounds like I'm being Captain Obvious (I am), but this obvious fact is something that the majority of golfers forget.
The most common mistake that golfers make is settling for the short term fix.
Just buy this club, put your hands here, keep your feet parallel with your shoulders, don't break the wrist on the backswing, keep your head down. etc. etc. etc.
Notice that nothing I just mentioned had to do with the mind? First of all, drop that anti slice driver nonsense, and tweaking the physical mechanics is all well and good for a few swings, but unless your head is on straight, it won't last.
Dave Moore has released his "The Dave Way Instant Golf Slice Cure" system. The difference between "The Dave Way" and "The Competition" is that his methods will make you realize what you need to do to really fix your golf swing, rather than telling you what is right and forcing you to accept it.
"The Dave Way" is a quality guide, and if you are seriously struggling with your slice, and want permanent results (and perhaps that promotion), I'd advise you to pick it up, I guarantee it will cost much less than any "Anti Slice Driver."
