Obviously, a big factor is what you can afford to pay. Finding a place that is within your means is absolutely essential in providing you with financial stability in the months and years to come.

For many people, and increasing consideration is the security of the area. Finding a location that has a low crime rate will also make your insurance premiums lower.

Another key thing, is that you will want to be close to certain types of facilities, like malls, bars, cafes, pools, gyms and the like. It is amazing how being close to these things can make such a big impact on your life.

You need to check on the availability of other important services, like mobile phone reception and internet access. Even though these are pretty widespread now days, it pays to find out first, just in case.

Also, you should check on the availability of any other particular things that you think important. Let's face it, often it is the small things, like having a nice park close by, that can make or break your move.
