We all love to look like how we did in our teens. Nowadays many women are in search of the fastest way to lose weight because they have two months before they must go to a school reunion, wedding or trip to Mexico. There are many slimming products and weight programs but we know that they do come with a price tag.

There are ways one can lose weight quickly but not overnight. These ways are simple things one can do at home. If you apply the following 7 basic things you will lose weight fast and lead a healthy lifestyle.

First is drinking plenty of water. Remember the rule; drink 8 to 10 glasses of water. Drinking lots of water will make you feel full so you will eat less. It will also make your body retain less water, believe it or not, and since our bodies are mainly water you will weigh less.

Next eat 5 meals a day and not 3. Don't skip breakfast. Three healthy meals and two snacks in between. And by snacks I don't mean cookies and chips. It could be fruit, yogurt, or protein bars.

Exercise regularly. You can either join a gym to motivate yourself or you can do simple walking and jogging. Even hobby activities like gardening, playing tennis or cycling will do. If you have children they will love these activities. You get to spend good time with them and this can be the fastest way to lose weight as well.

Always check the nutritional facts. The food and drinks market is flooded with fat-free food but it's not calorie free. So check calories per serving. Never get into the isle of chips and cookies, frozen pizzas and ice-creams. You will never be able to resist the temptation.

Keep a record of what you eat. This is very important when you are trying to indulge in the fastest way to lose weight. Always keep track of the things you are eating. Only then will you be able to improve.

Lastly do treat yourself once a week because you did all six things so well. Eating healthy food is boring in the beginning so chances are you will stop following it. So it's important you indulge into your favorite food once a week. These are simple things you can do to fit into your lifestyle while helping you lose weight fast.
