The NBA season is about to start as I'm writing this, and I can't wait. Opening night is tonight, and I'll be watching as many of the games as I possibly can.

I find myself in a fantasy basketball league every year now, and it's not uncommon for me to have more than one team. This year, I only have one team, and my wife is really happy about this.

Anyway, I want to discuss a few players who I believe have serious sleeper potential this season. I'll list one player at each position, so this discussion will name one guard, one forward, and one center.

While there are many more sleepers to keep an eye on through the course of the season, I only have time to discuss three right now. Anyway, here they are.

First, we'll speak of the guard I have in mind. I believe that Tyreke Evans in Sacramento should be watched very closely. Evans is the kind of guard with the ability to contribute in a handful of categories, which is invaluable in fantasy leagues as you know.

He even blocks shots during games. It might take a little time for him to acclimate to the league, but Evans can be really valuable.

At forward, I'm going to suggest watching Anthony Randolph really closely. If you saw the way he closed out the 08-09 season, you'd realize just how talented he is. The only question mark is Don Nelson, who is known to shuffle lineups around at will.

At center, I'm thinking that Roy Hibbert will have a breakout year. Hibbert is the starting center in Indiana, and he's very talented when it comes to shot blocking and rebounding. If you look at his per 48 minute stats last year, you'll see the potential. His only issue will be staying out of foul trouble, which he's known to get himself into.
