It is a boon as well as a bane to be born and brought in a family that boasts of an influential surname. It feels good to be privileged with such a life! What is more surprising is that these profiles have actually managed to fool many fans across the world. One Orkut profile for Arjun Tendulkar even boasted of a status message which reads as "As my father say's success comes after failure".
Such kind of thing is not new on web these days. One can find millions of fake profiles for famous personalities all the time on social networking sites. But just because one is used to a things doesn't make it much less demeaning. Arjun Tendulkar is merely a child and just beginning to understand the finer points of cricket. By putting Arjun under media glare like this will put immense pressure on his little shoulders.
Recently too when Arjun made his cricketing debut in U-13 Cadency Trophy held in Pune in January of this year. At that time also, media went fanatic over him which is not a wrong thing if you are not being too critical about the lad's batting performance. All said and done he is still only a 10 year old kid. Son of famous cricketer Sachin, yes! But still a kid!
His international; cricketing debut in few years will be something worth commenting on. Till then let Arjun Tendulkar live in peace and enjoy his childhood without marring it with unnecessary social networking fake profiles!
