Quite definitely, it might be a long-term plan on your agenda to dominate your market someday. However, competition in every business domain is quite intense right now and maybe that is demoralizing you already. Behind closed doors, you might have even discussed with your colleagues and friends how you can dominate your market and if you can even do that.
It is justified if you think that this is a huge thing you have to achieve. But, probably, everything is right with your business, right enough to get your business right on top there. Maybe the only thing that is lacking in it is your own confidence.
Tell yourself why you want your business to dominate. What good will that do your business? Certainly that will bring you on to the top heap of leadership within your domain and there will be no looking back. The profits will be immense. You will be able to keep your team happier. Your life will be made and so will the lives of several other people who are working with you. These are the incentives. Put them in black and white. Write them down. Make them more concrete by speaking them out aloud to your friends, colleagues and your various business teams.
By doing this, you aren't just inspiring your team, but you are also reinforcing your own confidence. You are telling yourself that you can fly. You are going nearer the levels of true accomplishment each time you are reinstating the reasons for accomplishment of your goals and objectives.
Once you have things written down, it becomes clearer for you to streamline your activities. You can now explain things to your team and distribute tasks accordingly. If you have an open discussion with them, you will also get valuable suggestions from your team.
The next thing is to tell people to take things one at a time. Focusing on everything at one go can lead to a big disaster. You need to take things one step at a time. Prioritize your goals and then explain your team to start accomplishing things in a descending order of priority, taking them one by one. Focus on one objective at hand, accomplish it, and then move on to the next one.
It seems like a very uphill task to be able to dominate your market. However, planned efforts and rock-solid determination is what can take you there. Effective executive coaching calls for moving on, without getting disillusioned and working in a pre-planned and organized manner.
