This September survey showed that 6 out of 10 women will go for the man who approaches them and makes them laugh. Another key point of this survey is that 4 out of 10 women either married or are still with a man who hit on them with a funny line.

Ask any woman who has been married a long time and many of them will say that the reason they married their husband is because he makes them laugh. Or they will tell you that the reason their marriage has lasted is because of this sense of humor.

The OnePoll survey showed that the majority of women like it when men use a humor pickup line and 3/4ths said they would respond positively if the line was accompanied by a smile.
