Spring Washers are similar to compression springs. They actually work in those areas where space requirements offer a small amount of range of motion. They are good at handling high stresses. They are useful when a constant thrust is needed.
H-13 Tool Steel
A Hot work tool made of chromium-molybdenum-vanadium for extreme toughness both indoor as well as outdoor. Temperatures can range from ambient to +1100 degrees F. It's abrasion resistance and excellent shock resistance is suited for applications where retaining strength at elevated temperatures is mandated.
6150 Alloy Steel
An alloy steel that is strong and oil hardened made of chromium-vanadium. It has extremely good wear along with abrasion resistance. It has outstanding ductility and is shock resistant. It has a temperature range of -60 to +420 degrees F.
301 Stainless Steel
A chromium-nickel stainless steel that is not hardenable by heat. The service temperatures range from -330 to +390 degrees F. It is resistant to strong oxidizing acids. It fends off attack by a variety of organic as well as inorganic chemicals.
17-7 PH Stainless Steel
A steel that is chromium-nickel and capable of being precipitation hardened by heat treatment. Once in a hardened condition, it will possess outstanding mechanical properties within room temperature and even elevated temperatures up to 700-800 degrees F. It has excellent cryogenic properties to -330 degrees F. Resistant of corrosion is superior to that of the chromium grades that are straight.
15-7 PH Stainless Steel
This steel is pretty much the same as to 17-7 PH except that the 2% of the chromium is replaced with 2% molybdenum. This provides better elevated temperature properties.
Inconel 718
A corrosion resistant nickel-chromium alloy that is used at temperatures from -330 to +1300 degrees F. This age-hardenable material has great resistance to oxidation at higher temperatures. It is non-magnetic, and even has good tensile, fatigue, creep, and rupture strength.
Inconel X-750
This is an age-hardenable nickel-chromium alloy. It is tough, non-magnetic, and even has excellent endurance properties with great fatigue resistance. This particular material has very good corrosion along with oxidation resistance.
410 Stainless Steel
Utility-grade chromium-stainless steel. It is air-hardening and corrosion resistant.
Carpenter 455 Stainless Steel
This type of stainless steel combines high tensile strength with very good cryogenic properties.
