Energy Saving Candle Bulbs Vs Real Candles

The world's community is desperately in need of more and more solutions to inefficient energy use and wastage at home, whether we realize and appreciate this fact, or not. One reasonably new way in which we can save energy in our homes is through the use of energy efficient light bulbs instead of the normal filament ones.

These energy-efficient light bulbs are a very easy way of saving large amounts of energy and money. In fact, according to the statistical data gathered from research into this new type of product, energy efficient light bulbs consume 20% of the electrical power that normal bulbs need to give light - which makes them 5 times more efficient. An example of what energy efficient light bulbs look like can be seen in the "EzineArticles" logo on the top left of this page.

Even though they consume a fraction of the energy that regular filament bulbs use, they still emit brighter, more intense white light, and do not produce nearly as much heat either. This means that more energy is used to give light and less is wasted as heat.

Energy-efficient light bulbs have many more benefits also.

On average, their lifetime is ten times greater than normal filament light bulbs! This can save you a truly incredible amount of money and energy since you will not have to replace obsolete bulbs nearly as often and you will also be using less energy to light up your home.

So, as a quick summary; if you replace all the light bulbs in your home with energy-efficient ones, you will be paying less for your energy bills, you won't have to worry about buying new ones for 5-6 years, and your home will be much brighter as they emit pure white light, rather than the normal yellowish light given off by filament bulbs.

You will not find such amazing benefits in any standard filament light bulb.

There are many kinds of new generation, energy-efficient light bulbs. There are also many types still being developed. However, one particularly amazing type of energy efficient light is known as the "energy saving candle bulb", or simply a candle bulb.

Candle bulbs are well on their way of replacing real candles for the numerous advantages they have over them. First of all, they have similar properties to the energy-efficient light bulbs in the sense that they last up to 10 times longer, consume less energy, and also produce less waste heat. They also are not dangerous to your pets or young children / babies and even your furniture like real candles are.

Thirdly, they do not actually burn a wick like real candles do, which means that they produce no fumes or unwanted smell. Also, just like real candles, you can place candle bulbs inside wall scones to give your room a very unique, powerful and romantic atmosphere that can last for thousands of hours - which is quite long compared to the amount of time that real candle bulbs can be last; about 3-4 hours.

It is not surprising that candle bulbs are replacing real candles, just like energy-efficient light bulbs are replacing standard filament bulbs. As we have seen, making a change from using regular bulbs to the energy-efficient ones is very easy and can yield a huge number of benefits for you and your home; since you will help the environment, save a load of money on your energy bills and have a home that is lit with bright-white light for a much longer amount of time.
