Alright. Perhaps nobody will include breaking up in a to-do list. Ending a relationship is never an easy thing to do. Nobody likes to go through it. However, one must understand that there is no point in trying to delay certain things. Not all relationships can be saved. Some will have to end eventually.

When it is time for a relationship to end, someone should take the initiative to end it for the benefit of both of you. Both of you can then move on to greener pastures.

Obviously, when ending a relationship, it will be best if you can avoid hurting anyone. Unfortunately, this is not always possible. In fact, it is almost impossible.

Someone is going to be hurt when a relationship ends. It is unavoidable. However, there are always things that can be done to minimize the hurt. The way to do it is not only what you say, but also how you say it.

When trying to break up with your boyfriend or girlfriend, be gentle. Give a good reason for breaking up if possible. It will be great if both of you can still remain as good friends. However, if it is not possible, then you will have to accept the fact as well. There are a few ways you can end a relationship.

You can just send a text message or an email. Or you can tell him/her through the phone or face to face. Whichever way you choose, you will have to do it eventually if there is no way for the relationship to work anymore.
