Tiredness can become an every day occurrence with many people, as I have experienced myself, especially in my younger teen years when life should have been a lot different. Not being able to understand a situation can be discouraging when trying to tackle your day to day routine of suddenly hitting a brick wall, of complete tired feeling in both body and mind.

When you hit this, it is a real struggle to be able to carry out the simplest of tasks. Then it feels like you are losing a battle which is out of your control, but this just is not the case, as I have finally discovered after years of frustration. A recent poll study has shown that in the U.S. 24% of adults have had encounters with feeling tired, for a period of time in their lives.

It got to a stage where I was actually falling asleep in class, but it just became a case of where I just accepted my situation, because I did not understand what it was. If you feel your condition is serious, then you really should go and see your doctor for professional help, because I have learned in my studying of tiredness that a small percentage of people will have a physical illness which may be treated by a doctor. Being tired all the time, is not any fun so here are some easy to follow, digestible ways to end your suffering.

Sleep is a major factor in all our lives, but going to bed at different times every night is not a good idea. Maybe your working hours are different every week, thus creating an unsettled sleeping pattern, so try to ensure you get a regular, specific time for sleep each night. Also a minimum of 8 hours sleep, but not too much either, getting a balance is always good.

Aim to do moderate exercise each day, just 30 minutes 5 days out of 7 a week will be enough, try to make it fun as this will encourage you to do more. Getting together with friends can make it a great environment to be in as you can do many kinds of different sporting activities together. You will feel alive and invigorated once you gain a good fitness level. Once you get good at it, you will want to do even more.

Allowing yourself time for relaxation is a great way to relieve any tension, or stress which may have built up over work issues, family, money worries etc. Because stress can leave you feeling too tired to be able to do anything, which wont help you to focus on the things you enjoy doing in life, which can be a frustrating experience in itself.

Try to cut down on alcohol intake and caffeine products, and replace them by drinking plenty of water on a daily basis. This really helped me once I got into the habit of doing so, and eating smaller sized meals, mixed with variety also, because eating the same foods daily is not going to give your body the essential nutrients it needs. These are really basic, easy tips to follow to help you, just begin with one, master it and then move onto the next.
