I want to dispel the notion that by simply tuning into you feelings that you are going to become a more effective individual.
This is because not all feelings are cut from the same cloth.
There are two categories of emotions that you need to become aware of. They are what I term:
1. Conditioned Emotions, and
2. Normal Human Emotions.
Conditioned emotions are such feelings as: fear, anxiety, worry, anger, envy, jealousy, defensiveness, hatred, neediness, loneliness, low self esteem, low self confidence, low self worth, guilt, hopelessness, etc.
They are the result of negative beliefs that you have chosen to buy into as the truth about your situation. Such beliefs and the associated emotions result from old traumatic life experiences that you still carry in your mind and body. Many have also been inherited through ancestral DNA in which such traumatic experiences are stored as well.
Another way of saying this is that such beliefs, emotions and memories are part of what psychologists call a post traumatic stress disorder. In other words they are abnormal and should not be there at all.
Unfortunately many of these become embedded in your mind and body from such an early age that you have likely never known your true self without them on board.
So much so that you have come to believe these emotions to be part of a normal human experience. They are anything but!
What's more they, along with their traumatic roots can be released permanently employing a new coaching modality.
When they are released one begins to have an unfettered and pure experience of themselves without these negative and life draining toxins.
One is left feeling only true Human Emotions that are life giving and in fact are Life itself! These consist of the following: love, joy, inner peace, great resilience, self confidence, happiness, self esteem, wholeness, lightness, buoyancy, compassion, buoyancy, inner strength & wisdom and so on.
So please be wary of those individuals who try to tell you that all feelings and/or emotions are normal. Deep inside I trust that you will know the difference and heed that inner wisdom.
